Conscious observation of Nigeria'scurrent society ravaged by the effects of terrorism creates curiosity about what continues to motivate the terrorists and those who support terrorism. For Igor Primoratz, terrorism is the deliberate use of horrific violence against innocent people who, on any credible understanding, are not responsible for the real injustice or suffering of the terrorist fight. Thereby intimidating them into a course of action they otherwise would not take. Perhaps as Primortaz thinks, there could be a moral justification for terrorism as we shall seek to find out. The investigation'smain thrust is to explain the concept of terrorism (in Primortaz ’smindset) and discover its effects on society and individuals. The Boko Haram insurgence and local (Fulani) herders' attack already provide a worthy case study for this investigation. How terrorism and terrorists have succeeded in advancing a "fear culture" in Nigerian society is a question to be addressed.
